Step 1: Adding Pockets 

Begin by adding pockets to the front and back panels of your jeans. These pockets play a crucial role in both functionality and style. Choose whether to include back pockets, front pockets, or both, and position them in a practical and comfortable location on the panels.

Step 2: Sewing the Front and Back Panels 

Pin the front and back panels together along the side seams, ensuring they are aligned accurately. Stitch the panels together, creating strong and secure seams. To achieve a professional finish, iron the seams to one side, making it easier for top stitching later on. 

Step 3: Attaching the Fly 

Next, attach the fly to the front panel. Align the top stitched edge of the fly over the center front seam of the jeans. Use a straight stitch to sew the fly in place, securing it firmly.

Step 4: Adding the Waistband 

Prepare to attach the waistband by folding it in half lengthwise. Sew the short ends of the waistband together, creating a loop.
